Walnut trees, chestnut trees, multicoloured sandstones : Lostanges geology and vegetation are fantastic !
During the medieval period, five or six lords shared the castle, built on
the top of the village. It was part of the Viscounty of Turenne.
It is said that during the Hundred Years War, Bertrand du Guesclin fought there.
